TGIF? More like TGITNF because the NFL has finally returned as the Detroit Lions go on the road to battle the Kansas City Chiefs!
Now this is how you start a season. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are the defending Super Bowl champions. Jared Goff and the Lions are the trendy pick to win the NFC North. Both teams know how to score points and have no trouble putting the ball in the endzone. Will the Kansas City defense be able to slow down emerging superstar Amon-Ra St. Brown? Can Detroit stifle Andy Reid’s high-octane offense? I have no idea, but I can’t wait to find out.
