Amazon raises non-Prime member free ship order to $35

Amazon has raised the minimum free ship order, for non-Prime members, from $25 to $35.

Prime members are still getting free delivery on eligible items, according to a CNN report.

Amazon is raising the non-Prime order minimum in a test, according to the news outlet.

“We continually evaluate our offerings and make adjustments based on those assessments,” Amazon spokesperson Kristina Pressentin told CNN. “We’re currently testing a $35 minimum for non-Prime customers to qualify for free shipping.”

The news comes on the heel of Amazon announcing it will run its second sales event of the year, calling it Prime Early Access Sale on Oct. 11-12.

Its first Prime Day event this year was a resounding success for Amazon, its third-party sellers and consumers seeking a bargain.
