When Suicide Squad came out in 2016, a lot was said about DC bringing to the screen some of the most iconic villains and turning them into anti-heroes. It also turned out to be one of the most noteworthy ones for its on-point casting – Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn being one of them. So it was no surprise that fans clamoured for Robbie to have a solo Harley Quinn outing, and she did not disappoint when the movie was finally released. Set four years after the events of the Suicide Squad, the plot of Birds of Prey is premised around Harley and her struggles to get back on her feet after breaking up with Joker. The movie sees her teaming up with other women to save a girl from a notorious gangster. From her costume to acting, Margot Robbie steals hearts and the limelight as Harley Quinn.

It shows Nellie’s rise and fall from stardom as she grapples with the changes. The movie brings together A-listers like Brad Pitt, Tobey Maguire, and Diego Calva, among others under one roof. If you like period dramas and black comedy, this one is a must-watch.
