John Wicks series ‘The Continental” is having some expanse on the Prime Video


New Delhi:- The John Wick prequel series “The Continental,” which was announced on Saturday, will premiere on Prime Video on September 22nd. Produced by Lionsgate Television, this show focuses on the inner workings of the famous hotel from Keanu Reeves’ action film series.

The Continental is told from the point of view of a young Winston Scott (played by Colin Woodell), the manager of a hotel that serves as a haven for assassins. Veteran actor Ian McShane describes the characters in the film series.

According to the official story arc, the series will see Winston drawn into “1970s New York City hellscape to confront the past he thought he left behind.” “In a disastrous attempt to conquer the hotel, Winston embarks on a perilous journey through the hotel’s mysterious underworld and ultimately ascends to the throne,” the synopsis reads.

Continental will also star newcomer Ayomide Adegun as Charon, which was written by the late Lance Reddick.

The rest of the cast includes Mel Gibson, Michelle Prada, Jeremy Bobb, Ben Robson, Nun Kate, Jessica Alleyne and Hubert Point du Jour.

“Our show The Continental finally has the space to explore these characters, how they became who they are, and how The Continental has become the center of this world,” said executive producer Basil Iwankyk.

“Add to that the introduction of new characters that are as compelling as any character in the John Wick universe. Crazy, cool, imaginative action. Easter Eggs are sure to please any avid Wick fan. And what I like most:

“It’s a vision of ’70s New York that embodies the sexy, edgy and soulful style that is the hallmark of the series,” he added.

The John Wick series The Continental is going to get space on the Amazon Prime Video as it the perspective of a young Winston Scott who was a refugee and the assassin in the Hotel.
