After seeing her global popularity soar through memorable supporting roles in the Netflix series Squid Game and All of Us Are Dead, Lee recently graduated to leading woman status. She headlined Mental Coach Jegal last year and will soon be seen in Strong Woman Gang Nam-soon.

Oh Jung-se is known for his role in It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, whose writer Jo Yong is writing Mr. Plankton, while Kim Hae-sook is a veteran actress whose recent credits include Curtain Call. Oh and Kim are currently co-starring in the occult series Revenant – scripted by Kim Eun-hee – alongside Kim Tae-ri.
2. Although I Am Not a Hero
For his first role since completing his military service, actor Jang Ki-yong (Now, We Are Breaking Up) may team up with Chun Woo-hee, who recently completed her run in the con artist drama Delightfully Deceitful. Both performers are currently considering offers to appear in the project Although I Am not a Hero.
This fantasy romance will follow Jang Hae-joo, a supernatural character who loses his powers owing to modern diseases. Jang is being eyed to play Hae-joo, while Chun has been offered the part of Do Da-hae, a woman who never loses hope after having been rescued from a fire by a mysterious man.

The series will be overseen by director Jo Hyun-tak, who directed the shows SKY Castle and Snowdrop. Taking on scripting duties is writer Joo Hwa-mi (My Shy Boss, Welcome).
Filming is expected to begin in August. While it is not yet known which broadcaster will screen it in Korea, the show is rumoured to be headed for JTBC.
3. Good Boy
Last seen in the drama series Record of Youth and the sci-fi film Seobok, Park Bo-gum has been offered the lead role in Good Boy. The series will follow several accomplished athletes who won medals at international sporting events in different fields and who are hired by the Korean government to work in a special branch of the police force.

Park is in talks to play Yoon Dong-joo, a former boxer who joins the team, which focuses on sports-related crimes.
Good Boy is being written by Lee Dae-il, who previously penned the Korean remake of Life on Mars. The show will be directed by Shim Na-yeon, who recently made Beyond Evil and The Good Bad Mother.
Should Park sign on to the show it would be his second series since he completed his military service, after the drama Thank You for Your Hard Work, currently filming, in which he co-stars with K-pop star IU (also known as Lee Ji-eun). Meanwhile, he has completed filming on sci-fi movie Wonderland, which is awaiting release.
4. Cashero
Currently gracing screens in the hit drama series King the Land alongside Im Yoon-ah, Lee Jun-ho appears to be circling his next project. A member of the K-pop boy band 2PM, he has been offered the lead role in the upcoming Netflix original series Cashero.
Lee’s representatives confirm that he is considering taking on the role of Kang Sang-woong, an unusual superhero whose special powers grow in tandem with his wealth. Lucky for him, this is a K-drama and he is a corporate heir.
Based on the webtoon of the same name, the action-comedy Cashero follows the story of various superheroes who endeavour to protect the lives of ordinary people.

Following his big-screen debut in the hit thriller Cold Eyes, Lee has steadily been establishing himself as a major screen presence over the past decade. His drama credits include Confession and The Red Sleeve.
Cashero is expected to be directed by Lee Chang-min, who is known for comedy dramas, including both seasons of Welcome to Waikiki.
