Summer is here, and school is out, and just in case it’s too hot to go outside, check out Netflix’s recap of “What to Watch” from the “Netflix Family Summer” collection featuring a trove of animation with new and returning series and movies. The 3DCG animated feature, Nimona, leads the lineup, coming to the streamer on June 30.

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish – In DreamWorks Animation’s adventure-comedy Puss in Boots discovers that his passion for adventure has taken its toll, and he’s burnt through eight of his nine lives. So, he sets out on an epic journey to find the mythical Last Wish and restore his nine lives.

Supa Team 4 Season 1 – Four teen girls living in the neo-futuristic African city of Lusaka are recruited by a retired secret agent still committed to saving the world… even if it’s on a budget. In their journey from schoolgirls tackling homework to undercover superheroes fending off supervillains, they’re transformed from a motley crew of friends into Supa Team 4!
Dew Drop Diaries Season 1 – The series follows a group of three-inch tall family fairies — or as they’re known in the fairy world Dew Drops — who live inside teensy fairy houses on brownstone balcony gardens in “The Big City” and are assigned to human families to “help out.”
The Dragon Prince Season 5 – The search for Aaravos’ prison sends Rayla, Callum, and Ezran on an epic journey across land and sea while conflict roils the Sunfire elves’ kingdom.
Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, The Movie – The film follows an ordinary teenager Marinette, whose life in Paris goes superhuman when she becomes Ladybug. Bestowed with magical powers of creation, Ladybug must unite with her opposite, Cat Noir, to save Paris as a new villain unleashes chaos on the city.

My Dad the Bounty Hunter Season 2 – The animated action-comedy series follows close-knit siblings Lisa and Sean, who stow away on their dad’s latest work trip, hoping to get some quality time together finally. Little do they know Dad’s been keeping a secret from them — he’s actually the toughest bounty hunter in the galaxy!
The Monkey King – The movie, an action-packed family comedy, follows a charismatic Monkey and his magical fighting Stick on an epic quest for victory over 100 demons, an eccentric Dragon King, and Monkey’s greatest foe of all — his own ego! Along the way, a young village girl challenges his self-centered attitude and shows him that even the smallest pebble can have a big effect on the world.
