Walmart is looking to take on its biggest rival with a weeklong sale that coincides with Amazon Prime Day.
“Walmart+ Week” will run from July 10 at 12 p.m. ET to 13 at 7 p.m. ET, which overlaps the July 11-12 dates of Prime Day 2023.
The Walmart sale’s event is open to all shoppers on July 11 at 12 p.m. ET, unlike Amazon’s requirement to be a Prime member to take advantage of deals. However, Walmart is giving early access to the sale to Walmart+ members on July 10 at 12 p.m. ET.
“Walmart+ Week” will offer exclusive deals and limited-time offers on products across Walmart’s website, including electronics, home goods, fashion, toys and more.
Walmart has revealed some of the rollbacks that shoppers can expect during “Walmart+ Week,” including these that will go live during the sale’s event:
Walmart+ members will also have access to exclusive deals during the sale, such as BOGO tickets to Six Flags, six months of Panera’s unlimited Sip Club for $5 per month, $30 credit to pet sitting service Rover and 30% off SpaFinder gift certificates.
Walmart+ is Walmart’s subscription service that competes with Amazon Prime and offers free grocery delivery, no shipping with no minimum order, fuel discounts, member rewards, free streaming access to Paramount+ and Scan & Go checkout.
A membership to Walmart+ costs $12.99 a month or $98 a year, in comparison to an Amazon Prime membership that is priced at $14.99 a month or $139 a year.
