It won’t be long until the highly anticipated sequel to the 2018 animated superhero movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse releases in theaters. Luckily, we have you covered on all the ways you can watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

WHERE TO WATCH SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE:
As of now, the only way to watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is to head out to a movie theater when it releases on Friday, June 2. You can find a local showing on Fandango. Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait for it to become available to purchase or rent on digital platforms like Vudu, Apple, Amazon and YouTube, or become available to stream on Netflix and Disney+. WILL SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE BE ON NETFLIX?
Yes, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will eventually be on Netflix as a result of a deal inked between the streaming platform and the movie’s distributor, Sony Pictures. The deal gives the streamer U.S. rights to all the company’s theatrical films starting in 2022.
While a streaming release date has not yet been announced, we can make an estimate based on another recent Sony film. The Woman King was released in theaters on Sept. 16, 2022, before it came to Netflix on Feb. 16, 2023 — around five months after it debuted. If Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse follows the same pattern, we could be watching from the comfort of our homes by early November 2023.
However, a digital release date should arrive much sooner. The Storm Reid-led thriller Missing was released in theaters on Jan. 20 before becoming available to purchase or rent on March 7 — about 45 days after its debut. By that logic, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse should come to digital by late mid-July 2023.

Yes, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will eventually come to Disney+ due to the company’s deal with Sony Pictures Releasing, which allows it access to all of Sony’s theatrical releases following their “Pay 1 TV Window.” This means that Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be released in theaters, then on digital, then on Netflix and finally on Disney platforms — meaning it’s going to be a while until this happens.
